Why Not Draw a Stickman?

I ran across this fun little way to fritter away a few minutes in your busy day.  We all need something to take our minds off our mudane jobs, sometimes.  This is a perfect way to do it. 

Draw a Stickman. 
See him come to life, and have a little adventure.  Which is something else we should all do once-in-awhile.  But of course, that's for another blog post!

A Weekend Quiz

I'll be the first to admit that I can't remember the last time I went to the movies, but I've seen a boatload of them in my lifetime.  Luckily this quiz is all about classic movies, and came by way of itsasmallweb.

A picture appears, and under it are spaces for the name.  You type in the letters you think are in the title.  I finished level 3 with 12 errors.  I'm guessing you movie buffs can do way better than that.

A Sunday Quiz

Remember that what you choose is not necessarily what your house looks like, but more what you'd like it to be.  Just can't see the Park Avenue in me,or in what I chose.  I must say though, it's humbling to think my tastes compare to Marlene Dietrich and Audrey Hepburn.  Frank Sinatra?  I guess there is an Italian connection in my life.

 

What's Your Color Personality??

Here's a quiz from Real Simple magazine just in case you want to know what your color choices say about you. 

I have a "Fire" personality and can't quite for the life of me figure out how that came from the answers I gave.  A closet full of pastel clothing doesn't sound like a ball of fire to me.  But hey, these quizes are always fun to do anyway and maybe I do have a fiery personality and just don't know it!

I'm once again thinking about paint.  I need to decide what color the bathroom and the hallway should be.  Here is a fun little quiz I came across from True Value.    Answer questions here – What's Your Color?  So, It looks like my color is RED! "You boast incredible willpower and are capable of overcoming obstacles that would normally leave others shaking in their boots. You have a penchant for colorful environments and often impress others with your energetic bursts of energy. Not so sure how accurate all that is, but I have actually bought a deep red paint for the dining room, which I thought would look great with white wanescoting, however I've been rethinking that lately.  Maybe a red bathroom is in my future instead!  What's your color?

Ah, Wednesday, the middle of the week, somewhere betwixt and between the weekend.  Today it's cloudy and overcast and the day just has a boring feel to it.  If you're feeling the same way, here is a little memory game from Flicker to help while away a few hours, which of course, will get you a few hours closer to the weekend!  Just type in a category of pictures you'd like to see (like flowers or birds or trees).

Do You Have an Interior Design Style?

 

If you've ever pondered this question (and need a fun little middle-of-the-week break), then step right up and take this little quiz brought to you by the International School of Colour and Design.

If there was a style called "Eclectic Junk" I was sure that would be me, but it turns out my style is Hampton's White Wash.  Having grown up in New Jersey, I supposed I'd prefer that to be called "Jersey Shore White Wash," but I won't be so picky.  The description fits me perfectly.  "You don't live by the sea, you live with the sea...beloved memories fill your home...the pieces you choose have stories to tell..."  Yup, that would be me.  And how about you?  What's your style?
