This came in the mail from my sister the other day, and I found myself deep in thought with memories of the past.
This was published in 1969, and is filled with amazing photos of the history of manned exploration in space.
I bet some of you remember crowding around little black and white televisions in your classrooms watching that very first US manned space craft.
Although this is all history now, one caption under a photo still rings some truth about us. "Nine hours after his arrival, man had littered the moonscape with his paraphernalia – TV camera, flag, laser reflector, solar wind sheet, special stereo camera and the sun-powered seismometer.
I remember it well!
