Too quiet. Granddaughters Chloe and Phoebe left early this morning with their parents and dog. They've been here for two weeks. Week 1, with their parents, and this past week solo with Nella and Pop Pop.
It went by so quickly. This household was a flurry of activity every day. Painting, drawing, coloring, butterfly catching, swimming, cooking and just a lot of pretending was going on. And now it's very quiet. Too quiet.
Here are a few pictures in review:
Chloe picking flowers for the table.
Phoebe on Pop Pop's shoulders.
Shopping at the Farmer's Market.
Boating in the pool.
Catching butterflies.
Playground fun.
Dinner outside.
It was the best 2 weeks we've had in a long-long time, and we can't wait until next summer's long visit.
Just beautiful! Looks like a love fest with the most important people in your world. The first photo of Chloe is so moving, takes your breathe away.

What beautiful little girls. It sounds like the perfect way to begin your summer.

What a wonderful memory it will be for your granddaughters. I remember spending time with my grandparents in the summer, and they are some of the best memories I have of them. They had my full attention, and it always surprised me that they could act as silly as kids when we were playing.
I can only imagine how quiet it is in your house now!

Love the butterfly wings on Chloe! Looks like everyone had a good time. The girls are growing so fast, they are truly beautiful.

Adorable! They are some lucky kids! I know I have wonderful memories visiting a special someone in Vermont.
