Well, not really. I can look out the back windows and see snow on the peaks of the Adirondacks. They glisten in the morning as the sun shines on them. We even had a little snow here in the valley.
Very little snow, but snow none-the-less. A reminder of what's to come.
A lot of work going on in the basement. Nick is getting ready to close in a space for the washer and dryer, which will be moved from the guest room/laundry room/office. We will recoup a much-needed closet. Once that is done, a new doorway will be cut for the downstairs bathroom (that has been torn out for more than a year) and that can finally be started. Then the upstairs bathroom can be torn out and remodeled when there is a working downstairs bathroom. Then the kitchen floor can be replaced and the pantry can be started (which will be in the old doorway into the downstairs bathroom off the kitchen). I think you get the picture here. Each project relies on the previous one being finished. It all makes my head spin.
And by-the-way, if you've ever wondered who really writes all these blog posts – here's his picture –
Sorry Rocky, didn't mean to blow your cover!
