Have you started any holiday projects yet? I thought I'd share this one with you.
These mittens are cut from wool flannel doubled over, but any flannel will work. I hand stitched them and added buttons, bells, rick rack and some fuzzy material. You can decorate them any way you'd like. I ran twine through the tops of the mittens (doubling over the flannel gives you space to do this at the top) and they'll hang across my fireplace. Don't have a fireplace? You can hang them over a doorway or window. Here is a Download Mitten for you to use to trace the mittens.
Don't forget to look at yesterday's post for a give-away!
Oh, to be in a warm Vermont home during the holidays, I guess that feeling will be in any home that your in during the holidays, but I bet yours is very special.

I have started my mittens for this year. I have all my stuff in the living room, and it is getting crowded! I get a warm fuzzy feeling while I work on them.

Do you have to use flannel, or will felt work. I think the girls would like to do this. And I may have the patience to help them with it.

I'm going to attempt these and put my mom-in-law's, grandkids names on each one.
PS - Do you take bribes Nella?
