They look good, they smell wonderful and they taste absolutely terrible. One bite and you feel like you have a mouthful of putty. Since making these wheat-dairy-refined sugar-free cookies, I've learned a lot about baking with alternative flours. Needless to say, these went straight into the compost. This failure has not stopped me from trying. Since trying to live without these 3 things in my diet, I've lost 6lbs without trying so there must be something to it. Like I said, I'll just keep trying.
So if it's raining in your neighborhood this weekend and you need some mindless thing to do, let me suggest that you watch some Stupid Pet Videos to take your mind off the weather. It looks like this site has 269 of them. That oughta get you through a rainy Saturday afternoon!
June, How does that diet(wheat, dairy, sugar free)work with wine? I've been thinking how could anyone give up wine?
That is the last thing I'd want to give up, because it's a life saver at the end of a long busy work day.Mind you I only have a glass, but it's a relaxing end to my day.

Connie, I still drink a glass of wine and an occasional "cocktail." I don't really consider it a "diet" just a new eating regime. As a very good friend of mine told me who goes to the same acupuncturist and is also eating this way, "Life is too short not enjoy it." So, I'm enjoying the wine and the very occasional sprinkle of parmesan!
